This is a rare event indeed. To those of us climate geeks snow collecting on palm trees, especially less cold tolerant species, is an interesting experience. For those of us hardy and desperate surfers hungry for a true man vs nature experience, the cold blustery winds and white out conditions where fuel for fire. Not to mention the shallow reef you had to carefully position yourself over.
